Being comfortable under water is key for paddlers. The focus of the clinic is increasing comfort with being upside down/under water. This will be achieved through drills and techniques that are designed to: improve comfort under water, extend the length of time one can stay under water, and get past the mental blocks to being under water. Instructor Luba Healy will work with participants on these concepts as a precursor to rolling. While some rolling fundamentals will be introduced, rolling is not the focus of the clinic.
