About this event:

Come on out and celebrate Spring with the GCA.  This is our annual Spring Membership paddle.

April 12th will prove to be a great GCA Club Paddle Day.  We are meeting at 12:30 at the new NOC outpost at Power’s Island on the Metro Hooch.  Four things will happen:1)  There will be food 2) Stacy Stone will update us on the potential dewatering of the Middle Ocoee in 2018 and how we can help stop that from happening 3) After Stacy’s recap there will be a Club paddle and 4) Those interested can participate in the trip coordinator training.  Awesome full event!  RSVP and let us know you will be there!

Here is a bit about the Trip Coordinator Meeting & Paddle

Trip Coordinator Training – Have you wanted to coordinate a GCA river trip or maybe you have in the past but not clear on how to do it – then this is the trip for you!   We are going to meet at Metro Hooch put in and have a short meeting on what it means to be a trip coordinator.   The meeting will be about an hour and then we will go paddle the river.   The river trip will be run like a standard GCA trip.   Meet 12:30 pm at the Metro Hooch put in.

We will participate in the GCA membership meeting and then have our own little powwow and then paddle the river.
