If you have always wanted to explore Georgia’s many rivers, while camping and paddling with family and friends, then these are the trips you want to join! We will plan 1 weekend event each month to camp and paddle together. Our focus in 2011 will be to work with the various GA Riverkeepers. These folks are dedicated to the protection and preservation of our beloved rivers, and together, we can explore and enjoy these beautiful waterways.
Our first trip will be in March. The GCA will be paddling the “Mighty” Altamaha River, in Darien Ga. Sonja Cox with the Atlamaha Riverkeepers will be working with us to put together a wonderful paddle, camping event, in this very special location in GA’s SE coastal area. http://www.altamahariverkeeper.org/
